No. NSW implanters need to register owner details on the NSW run registry, this is free. NSW implanters are required to enter details at www.petregistry.nsw.gov.au or by mailing details to their local council. We recommend you purchase ISO FDX-B Microchips

If you are currently using a certain microchip type, have a look at the products information. If it states that it is an ISO FDXA, ISO FDXB or HDX then the RT100 will be able to read it.
